History

August 1952	Company begins as spring division within Maruho Trading in Osaka
August 17,1954	Company established at current location as Maruho Hatsujyo Kogyo, with capital of 500,000yen and eight employees.
January 1965	Established a new factory, located in Kyoto Prefecture, in the Yoshikawa Town of Kameoka City. (First Period Construction Work) The transfer of manufacturing operations to this location was initiated, and production volume increased rapidly.
April 1970	Maruho becomes the first spring company to receive investment from the Osaka Small and Medium Business Investment and Consultation Co.,Ltd. (Corporate bond: 20million yen)
November 1972	Maruho receives an award as an outstanding company from the Japanese Tax Office.
April 1973	Fukuoka Sales Office opened.
March 1974	Tokyo Sales Office opened. Sales activities in areas north of the Kanto region were enhanced.
August 1974	Osaka Sales Office opened due to the expansion of business.
February 1975	Higashihomme Factory newly established as Kameoka Spring Co.,Ltd.
August 1977	Official approval obtained to produce equipment for use in the medical care field. (Ministry of Health and Welfare)
October 1978	Operation of Maruho total System begans.
July 1980	Kameoka Factory recognized for its outstanding level of business operations (from the Kyoto Labor Standards Association)
May 1984	30 Years History published
October 1987	Himeji Branch Office opened.
October 1989	Maruho received the Kyoto Labor Standards Bureau Director‘s Award and the Special Effort Award.
July 1990	Maruho received the Kyoto Labor Standards Bureau Progress Award.
December 1994	Himeji Branch Office expanded and became Himeji Sales Office.
January 1995	Maruho begins MIPS promotion activities.
October 1997	Received Kyoto Prefecture‘s award for Superior Technology in Small and Medium Enterprises and Superior Technology Expert awards (four employees).
April 1999	ISO9002 certification obtained.
April 2000	Mnet24 is initiated.
May 2001	Mnet Express initiated.
June 2001	ISO14001 certification obtained.
December 2001	Designated as Kyoto Prefecture‘s model factory for small and medium enterprises.
December 2002	Maruho listed as one of the 103 “Venture City” Booming Kyoto Businesses (compiled by Nikkei Inc.).
May 2004	50th anniversary commemorative trip (to the Ibusuki area).
April 2005	Patent on a torque transmission tube and endoscope patent obtained.
December 2005	Authorization of a business for medical device repairs obtained (Classification added).
August 2007	Work on Shinkoetsu Factory in Sonbe-cho, Nantan, Kyoto Prefecture is compiled and the factory begins operation.
March 2008	55th anniversary commemorative trip (to the Fukushima and Sendai area)
August 2008	Osaka Sales Office moved.
January 2010	Received the Kyoto Prefecture Small and Medium Size Company Technology Grand Prize Award. “Compliance Action Standards” booklet is issued.
May 2011	Tokyo Sales Office moved. Construction of the 11th period building of Kameoka Factory.
May 2013	“BCP (Business Continuity Plan)” booklet is issued.
November 2013	60th anniversary commemorative.
December 2013	Became a subsidiary of Maruho Co., Ltd.
June 2014	Maruho Hatsujyo Innovations,Inc., Jointly established in the USA. With Maruho Co., Ltd.
2016	Maruho Hatsujyo (Thailand) Co., Ltd. established in Thailand.
2016	Relucent Metals Solutions, Inc. merged (Santa Rosa).
2018	Nissho Precision Pte. Ltd. Merged in Singapore.
	Relucent Plastics Solutions, Inc. merged (Denver).
	ISO 9001, ISO14001: 2015 version Certificate obtained.
	Selected as “Regional Future Leader” by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in Japan.
2019	PT. Maruho Hatsujyo Batam established in Indonesia.
2020	ISO13485: 2016 version Certificate obtained.
2023	Maruho Machinery Solutions, Inc. separated from Maruho Hatsujyo Innovations, Inc.
2023	Nissho Precision Pte. Ltd. changed its name to Maruho Hatsujyo Asia Pte. Ltd.
